Poolside performance at the Double Tree Hotel
Last weekend, Live performed a solo set, poolside at the Double Tree Hotel in Orlando Florida during their yearly Women’s event. The hotel was filled to capacity with energetic vacationers enjoying a little fun and relaxation. Live performed a few songs off her latest EP along with a couple cover tunes that really got the crowd going. “The show was great and I really appreciate all the love. These ladies really know how to make a girl feel special.”

New Music: My Musical Snapshot
After being inspired by one of my favorite singer/songwriter Gabe Bondoc‘s latest 2011 EP, I’ve decided to embark on a musical journey of my own. Over the last few weeks, I’ve been writing and recording new material that I can’t wait to share. The new songs are definitely different from what you’ve been hearing from me and what you’ll get on the album, but they still hold true to my overall message and that is to inspire, encourage, love and entertain. Recap: 2011 Florida Music Festival
Singer/Songwriter Live Hart has performed all throughout the South East and made her second appearance at the 2011 Florida Music Festival. This year’s festival showcase was held in Orlando, Florida . Live performed a 30 minute set which had many listeners mesmerized. She was accompanied by her band mates, guitarist Gerardo Manrique and percussionist Steady Joseph. Upcoming GIG! AIM for a CURE
Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, killing an estimated 8,700 people in the US in 2010. AIM for a Cure, the Orlando Chapter of the AIM at Melanoma Foundation* was founded in 2009 in Orlando, Florida by Lori Luedtke as a way to honor her brother, David Eagleston, who lost his battle with melanoma in 2006. Through her love for David and dedication to the cause of eradicating melanoma cancer, she organized their first fundraiser event in just two months, netting an impressive $8,000 for melanoma research!
On May 1st Laura and her team will be doing it all again! Ember (Downtown, Orlando) will be hosting this year’s 3rd Annual AIM for a CURE Fundraiser for Melanoma Research on May 1st at 4pm. (more…)

Recap: Orlando aLive at the Social Feb. 28
Orlando definitely came alive at Orlando aLive this past Monday February 28 at The Social.
CultureClimax and EventJunkies put together this live music, live art event to bring something different and unique to Orlando. The vibe was exceptional, the whole night flowed with ease as people enjoyed various performances and the art on display. Steph Wood displayed her artwork all over the venue giving you eye candy no matter where you looked. 3R Customs setup their custom sneaker display and had the whole venue wanting a new pair of kicks on their feet.
Prote-J, host and performer set the mood and made the crowd and performers feel comfortable and casual. Bobbi Ruffin and the band held it down as the Orlando aLive house band and also played along with some of the performers and accentuated the live music feel of the night.

FAMU welcomes Live Hart!
Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) welcomed Live Hart as guest speaker in their morning classes. Live shared her experiences on making music and the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people, with over 70 students in the ‘Intro to Theater’ class taught by Professor Evelyn Tyler. The class also got the opportunity to watch Live’s new music video for ‘Please Don’t Say It’s Over’. “It was a great speaking with the students today. I look forward to putting on a show for them very soon.”

‘Please Don’t Say It’s Over’ Premier Party
Last night, singer/songwriter Live Hart, premiered her highly anticipated music video, ‘Please Don’t Say It’s Over’ to a packed house at Ember (Orlando). The video illustrates Live’s creative side with colorful animation. Directed by Adam Gambrel for Blulite Productions and shot in Winter Garden Fl., the video represents a true indie artist at their best. “Working with BluLite Productions has truly been a blessing. Their professionalism and organization kept me at ease during the entire process. Adam created a video treatment that truly embodies the message of the song and its simplicity.
